Latest Lore: The Altar of Leviathan

This week’s lore drop is our very first look into the setting of Carcass Front: The Altar of Leviathan.

The mysterious Altar of Leviathan was dragged from the ruins of a sunken temple, washed ashore by a tsunami of biblical proportions. It is venerated by the inhabitants of the fishing town of Dorythol, who claim it protects them from the horrors of the Great War…

The Altar of Leviathan is one of the key locations of the Carcass Front’s “Path to Leviathan” campaign, at which the fate of the world will be decided.

Its incredible artwork is by Artem Demura, and the lore is by Graham McNeill. The Carcass Front campaign box is now available for pre-order, coming July 2026!
