New dates for Carcass Front

Following some minor production and logistics delays, the release of Carcass Front, our new starter set and supplement box, has been pushed back by one month.

The new street date for Carcass Front is now August 31st 2026.

All pre-orders will be shipped out the week before, although please do bear in mind that we do not control postal services. If you pre-ordered Carcass Front, you should already have received an email from us, we apologize for the wait!

To avoid spoilers and ensure that things are kept as fair as possible, our Kickstarter backers will now receive their Carcass Front digital rewards in the run up to the street date as well. We’ll post an update to the Kickstarter page with more details next week.

What caused the delay?

This delay was caused primarily by last minute improvements that were made to the miniatures, such as part splits, fittings, mould lines, etc. The Carcass Front box contains two Warband sets, and not only are these sets more complicated to develop than individual units, this is the first time we’ve tackled two at once! We want all of our minis to be as good as they can be, and final quality checks and tweaks took longer than expected.

These changes had a knock-on effect on logistics. Shipping everything immediately would have caused different regions of the world to receive their copies at different times. This would have been difficult to manage for stores and distributors, as well as being frustrating and confusing for you, the players. By delaying the release of Carcass Front by one month, we can ensure everyone can enjoy discovering all of the grim secrets of the Carcass Front at the same time.

We are incredibly grateful for everyone’s support and patience! The Carcass Front box is a huge step for us that we are very excited to share with you, and we can’t wait to see it on gaming tables all over the world.

To help you wait just a little while longer, here is an exclusive illustration by Thomas Elliott, featuring one of the strange characters you may encounter in the cursed lands of the Carcass Front. Who are they, and what role do they play in the story ahead? You’ll find out soon…
