You can now sign up for Trench Crusade’s very first European Open Championship!

While Trench Crusade is at its heart a narrative-driven tabletop game, we still want to make sure that those who enjoy competitive gaming in the spirit of friendship and fun are also catered to. Over the past months, we have been working on a set of tournament rules with a number of Trench Crusade event organisers around the world. Now, it’s time to test them out for real: registration for the first European Open Championship Tournament is now live!

The event will take place on 2nd of November in Bauhuis, Sint Niklaas, Belgium. It will take place directly after the CRISIS 2025 gaming convention, so if you’re in the area, why not do both?

Tuomas Pirinen, the designer of Trench Crusade, will be attending the event. He’ll be chatting directly with the players about their experiences, to get an idea of how to continue with the development of this ruleset. Spots are limited, and registration is not based on the principle of first come, first served. Instead, all applicants will be hand-picked using a hobby questionnaire, in order to get the best mix of players as possible.
